Dear Book Club

Dear Book Club started because I couldn’t find the kind of bookish clothes I actually wanted to wear.

I wanted book merch that felt personal, wearable, and more clean. A lot of what I saw on Etsy and TikTok was cute, but it just wasn’t really something I’d throw on and wear out.

So eventually as someone who has always been drawing and writing. I thought: fine, I’ll do it myself. 

At first, I wanted to do everything from scratch. Buy the printing equipment, pack every order, the whole thing. But it quickly became very clear that producing clothing that way was way out of my budget.

Then I found this print on demand service...

I was skeptical at first. I didn’t want to make cheap, throwaway clothes, and I definitely didn’t want to sell anything I wouldn’t actually wear myself.

So I ordered samples, read up on the materials and production process, and slowly realized that the things I cared about were actually there: quality, more responsible materials, fairer working standards, and even certifications to back it up.

Then I wore them. Washed them. Basically lived in them. And I realized: this could actually work.

I’m so excited to finally start this journey.

This has been something I’ve worked on for the past two years in every little bit of free time I had. Designing, planning, researching, testing, rethinking, and slowly building this into something real.

And now it’s officially live!

My biggest hope is that one day, I’ll be able to do this full time. But for now, I’m just so happy to finally share it with you.

I’ve put so much love into these pieces, and I truly think you’re going to love them just as much as I do.
